Colorful tiger beetle found on the Hiji nature trail.

Papilio Memnon

Papilio Memnon 

Large beautiful butterfly that I saw flitting about on Okinawa. This is on the nature trail by the Hiji campground. 

Bearded Dragon

This guy is huge. I was too afraid of a wild lizard to try to stick my hand in the picture for fear of what the beast would do to me. It clearly had no fear of tourists.

Australian White Ibis

These were also common within the city. This one and several others were grubbing about in the flower beds of a park. They let me get very close. This was very close to the "Ibis" hotel.

Australian Magpie

These were everywhere in Sydney. Probably filling the same ecological niche as crows.
