This guy is huge. I was too afraid of a wild lizard to try to stick my hand in the picture for fear of what the beast would do to me. It clearly had no fear of tourists.
These were also common within the city. This one and several others were grubbing about in the flower beds of a park. They let me get very close. This was very close to the "Ibis" hotel.
